The Fort Worth Fire Department said trash and tires were burning in the 2200 block of Silver Creek Road.

One firefighter received a minor injury; Fort Worth FD said; however, no businesses or homes were damaged.

The fire department said the fire is mostly contained and crews are waiting for hot sports to burn themselves out, which could take a day or two due to "sand and petroleum with the tires," Fort Worth FD said, adding "the wind and heat did not help."
